58% Syrah and 42% Cabernet Sauvignon from Washington State. Blackberry, white pepper, black licorice, cocoa with hints of smoked meat. Long and energetic finish that builds with floral notes. Ripe and bold, without becoming a fruit bomb, this has heaps of black plum and red cherry flavors. There are also some nice smoky, bacon-like notes, which make it a great wine to have with grilled steaks or burgers.

​Made by winemakers Joel Gott and Charles Bieler, a deep red, nearly purple color, with aromatics of concentrated black fruits, cigar box and notes of barrel toast. Dark fruit, spice and rich flavors continue on the palate.

The Falesco Famiglia Cotarella 2018 Merlot Sodale is indeed electric and energized with bright berry fruit and lifted aromas of dark mineral and grilled herb. This Merlot shows more saltiness than it does overt sweetness. To the palate, it is earthy, compact and deep.
